Muslim Faithful Urged To Embrace Peace

Muslim faithful have been enjoined to embrace peace always as it’s enshrined in the Holy book, as they celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan. 

The National Coordinator of  Committed Soul Foundation (CSF), Mrs.  Ruth O. A. Sanni made the call in a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna Sunday.

 According to her, the month of Ramadan is truly a month of purification of mind and time to turn back to God on the ways we have being that is contrary to the ways of God. 

She said that everyone has cause to thank God in this country over the smooth co-existence of both religion bodies, “the successful conduct of the Ramadan period and celebration of the end of it is a testimony to the smooth cohabitation of all”.

Mrs. Sanni further stated that with one mind among all, all forces against the nation could be won, hence embrace of peace among all.

“We should accept the fact that we are one irrespective of religion or tribe every obstacle trying to tear the country apart could be nib in the bud”.

She explained that the era of pulling one down against another should be a thing of the past, saying that the future of country and generation yet unborn must be paramount in our minds.

“The development of the country must be a key point for everyone so that we collectively take the nation to a greater heights “.

Mrs. Sanni, according to the statement, called on the leadership of both religion to put the foot of their followers on the right path, by this the nation will be rid of bad elements. 

The coordinator posited that the present COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the country needs total support and concerted effort of all in combaing it, “Im calling on all citizen of this great nation to join hands with the government and fight the scourge till its defeated,” she advised.
