The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), zone B on Sunday asked Muslim faithfuls to pray for peace and immediate end to CoronaVirus pandemic .
NUJ zone B in its Eid el Fitr message to felicitate with Muslims on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting rejoiced with them for seeing the end of the holy month and urges them to continue with the attitude of prayers and supplication which they demonstrated in the last 30 days.
The union in the message jointly signed by the Zone B Vice Presiden, Comrade Cosmas Olalekan Oni and the zonal secretary, Comrade Bamigbola Gbolagunte emphasized the need for Muslims to use the occasion of Eid de Fitri to pray for peace and immediate end to the Corona Virus pandemic ravaging the whole world.
NUJ zone B comprising of all the states in the South West tasked Islamic faithful to continue to pray for peace in the country and the world at large as the whole world battles with COVID 19 pandemic.
It then prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide the Journalists in the discharge of their professional works at this perilous time.
