Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: New Cases 176, Total 5,621

Information released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that Nigeria recorded 176 new Cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday.

According to NCDC  on Twitter, the following list explains how the global pandemic occurred in the States of the federation: Lagos 95, Oyo 31, FCT Abuja 11, Niger 8, Borno v8, Jigawa 6, Kaduna 4,: Anambra 3, Edo 2, Rivers 2, Nasarawa 2, Bauchi 2, Benue 1 and Zamfara 1.

The Nigerian disease control agency said that as of 11.56 p.m. on Saturday, 16th May 2020, a total of 5,621 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that 1,472 were discharged and that 176 were dead.
