COVID-19: NCDC Discharges Gov Bala After Treatment

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State who tested positive to CoronaVirus almost three weeks ago and was treated under the tutelage of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has been discharged by the centre.

Speaking after been discharged Thursday night at about 9pm with a Clean Bill of Health issued to him by the centre, the governor declared “I went through hell while in isolation for treatment”.

He added, “I felt like I was alone, but the love, affection and prayers shown to me by the good people of Bauchi state really kept me going”.

Governor Bala Mohammed, who thanked the people of Bauchi state for standing by him all through the hell while in isolation said, “ I cannot hide my health status, but if by so doing I offended anyone, I apologize for that”.

Mohammed, who after spending almost three weeks in isolation and looking hale and hearty, declared “It was really a trying period for me, Glory to God that I was able to pass the test”.

He however urged the people of the state not to come to his office of Government House for sympathy visit, saying “Because of the social distancing practice directive, I appeal to our supporters to stay at home and continue to pray for divine intervention on the situation”.

It would be recalled that the negative test on the second and final sample of Governor Bala Mohammed was by Thursday received with enthusiasm.
