Facts have emerged on how the ongoing romance between Islamic cleric, Shiek Sani Yahaya  Jingir and the Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong  saved the Sheikh from being embrassed  and molested on Tuesday by the police who invited  him over the violation of order on CoronaVirus.

A senior  police officer who pleaded anonimity said  the Islamic cleric would have been rough handled considering  the gravity of the offence he committed  which  threatens National security.

He said  the state government and security apparatus where left  with no other  options then to treat the matter lightly.

According to him,  the  state police command headquarters in Jos metropolis couldnt make use of their  earlier threat “because of the governor’s influence

It was reliably gathered that another reason for the  police inability to detain  the JIBWIS leader was partly because of his alleged  crucial role in the  election of the  APC government in the  state and at  national  level.

It was gathered that  at the  time the  Plateau Police boss handed the cleric to the State Security Service, he was forced to make  a confessional statement denouncing his earlier claims.

Observers in the state  believe that the damages done  by the earlier statement that  CoronaVirus  does not exist has created  a lot of enlightenment difficulties for the state government.

Such violation of the state government’s directives on COVID-19 by both Muslim and Christian  clerics is now causing the problem of compliance from the people in the state.
