Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TEWORH Foundation, Suraj Abdulwahab Olawoye has taken sensitization tour of the deadly CoronaVirus to Almajiris.
A video monitored by our correspondnent saw him educating them on social distancing, ahead of their relocation to respective states.
“If you want to sneeze, do it in your elbow. CoronaVirus is no respecter of status, age, religion, ethnic group or race. It has devastated the world and is becoming pandemic.
“The good news is that it can be presented through personal hygiene of constantly washing of hands with soap under running water and adhering to universal standards of social distancing,” he said.
He charged them to take the knowledge on how to prevent the spread of the virus to their various homes and communities.
TEWORH CEO prayed for God to protect them from the pandemic.
He also commended the Kaduna State Government for responding promptly to his calls for their evacuation to respective homes.
It was gathered that during the sensitisation, TEWORH Foundation also donated soap, sanitizers, food and other things to them, which were handed over to the Malam in charge of the tsangaya.
Olawoye thanked Malam Hassan Yakubu Dodo of Gogo Hajjia Mariam Academy of Asikolaiye for permitting them to lecture the children, while thanking all who contributed towards the gesture.
