CoronaVirus: Ishaku Directs Civil Servants To Stay At Home

Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku on Wednesday directed civil servants on grade level one to 12 to stay at home for two weeks in order to check the spread of covid -19, also known as CoronaVirus pandemic.

The directive was contained in a statement by Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor in Jalingo.
According to the statement, the civil servants in this category on essential services are exempted from the directive.
“Gov Ishaku has directed that all civil servants in the state from grade level 1-12 to stay at home for two weeks to enable us check the spread of covid-19 pandemic,” it stated.
The statement urged all residents to maintain the earlier directive on social distancing and personal hygiene to stay safe from the deadly disease.
