Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has said that he is currently okay without any adverse manifestation of the coronavirus symptoms despite testing positive to the virus.
The Governor was responding to a sympathy text message sent to him by the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara over his quarantine following the positive texture to the dreaded coronavirus.
Senator Bala Mohammed however, advised all compatriots to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously by staying away from unnecessary contacts, use of sanitizers, as well as obeying medical advice, and complying with government’s directives. I cherish your support and prayers please”.
Bala told parliamentarian Dogara, “Thank you very much my brother Right Hon. Speaker for your care and concern. I appreciate a lot. I’m currently okay without any adverse manifestation of the symptoms.
The governor added, “I advice all my compatriots out there to take this pandemic serious. Stay away from unnecessary contacts, stay at home if you can, use sanitizers and masks. Above all, obey medical advice and government directives. I cherish your support and prayers please”.
The former speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara had in the text message sympathized with Governor Bala Mohammed and prayed God for his quick recovery.
Dogara said, “My brother, Governor Bala Mohammed, I have tried unsuccessfully to reach you after hearing of the devastating news. You, Malam Abba Kyari and all those affected are in our prayers”.
Dogara prayed God to take control and bring healing like He has done for many, and wished all those affected by the coronavirus infection quick recovery.
