Virtually all the filing stations in Plateau State are yet to comply with the new fuel price announced by the Federal government.
Our correspondent who monitored sales at most of the filing stations in Jos and Bukuru metropolis reports that the fuel attendants are still using the old price.
Only A. Y. M Shafa Filing Station along Bauchi Road in Jos metropolis complied with the directive so far.
Some of the oil dealers said they are yet to comply with the new oil price because they are yet to receive new supply of the product.
They called on anxious Nigerians to bear with the fuel dealers who may by next week introduce the new policy.
A marketer in Jos , Alhali Ali Garba Pasali said the reason for the partial compliance was due to the fact that most of the dealers are yet to disbursed their products before the announcement by the Federal government.
He called on Nigerian to be patient and wait for the implementation despite the existing hardship which makes nonsense with the new fuel price policy
According to him, the reduction in price of the product came” un expertly without our knowledge.
