The need for effective engagement of traditional rulers towards enhanced security activities in the country have again been stressed.

The founder of the National Tranquility Movement of Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gashash made the call during a public awareness on security, organized by the Integrated Youth for Better Leadership in partnership with the Kaduna State Vigilance service, in Kaduna.

He said the issue of security is the responsibility of all, hence the need for the support of the traditional institution and other members of the society.

In his remarks, the District head of Tudun Wada Kaduna and the Sarkin ruwan Zazzau, Alhaji Muhammad Tahir described the meeting as timely in view of the current security situation in the country.

He assured that as leaders they would not relent on their oars until the problem of insecurity in Kaduna state is being addressed.

In his contribution, the founder Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria, Pastor Yohanna Buru appealed to adherents of different religions beliefs in Nigeria to unite themselves and avoid acts that could polarise them along religious, ethnic and sectional lines.
