In its bid to access the untapped potentials in the state, the Adamawa State Governor, Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri has concluded plans to train about ten thousand youths in different skills.
This was disclosed by the governor at the ongoing 41st Kaduna International Trade Fair.
The Governor who was represented by his Commissioner of Commerce, Trade and Industries, Mrs. Justina Nkom said areas such as agriculture, mineral resources are yet to be tapped.
According to her, the essence of their participation in the trade fair is to showcase the potentials they have in the 21 local governments of Adamawa State.
“With the present government in place, we assure you that our doors are always open for any business investment because we want to industrialise our state.
“Presently, the governor of the state is planning to train about ten thousand youths in different skills which will turn improve the standard of living of the youths, in the state as they will be empowered.” The commissioner added.
She however noted that the governor has also beefed up the security in the state as soon as he assumed duty which according to her, made Adamawa State conducive for business investments.
