The association made the commendation at the end of it’s meeting in Kano where a progress report about the Northern region was presented in a colourful gathering that was fully attended by the 19 northern states representatives that convened on Saturday.
The association’s national president, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu presided over the meeting.
Speaking to our correspondent, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu disclosed that, “We converged as an association in order to have a look at what is happening in the North where we discovered that our nyorthern governors are doing well to ensure that everything is going on successfully at their respective states.
“Similarly, we gathered to present our next plans because we want to see that Nigeria is getting more progress at domestic and international levels”. He emphasized.
Furthermore, the national president appealed to the Northern governors to restore all the edifices that were left grounded for long which would remain the late Sir Ahmadu Bello’s legacies because restoration of such properties would be another asset to the Northern domain, especially media organisations, companies and other cultural initiatives.
Alhaji Abubakar Adamu thanked the president of the federal republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari for his untiring efforts towards the national progress despite the many challenges that often retarded his government that are mostly causes by some unpatriotic citizens.
