The Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna has concluded plans towards effecting training of medical students of the Kaduna State University (KASU) to make them professionals.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Abdulkadir Musa Tabari said this while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna.
According to him, apart from training students wishing to become medical doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, laboratory scientists and other category of medical students are undergoing training in different fields to make them become experts in their chosen careers.
He said that with the full support of the Kaduna State Government, students of KASU who have completed their degree programmes can proceed with masters programmme in Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.
Prof. Musa Tabari also explained that Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai has given the go ahead for the establishment of the Emergency Centre for Accident Victims in the hospital.
