The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dominion Hotspur F.C of Lagos / top players’ Agent, Emmanuel Udeogu has tasked the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to improve the standard of the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) with intent of checking the rampant exit of budding stars to clubs abroad.

Udeogu said the poor welfare packages offered by NPFL sides have constantly killed players’ interest in the NPFL.

“Virtually all talented players want to take their skills abroad because local clubs are offering peanuts. Most players are scared of poor management, remunerations and general welfare. Even the much younger one see our league as write off compared to what obtains abroad.

“I want the NFF and League Management Company (LMC) to educate our clubs on the need not to compromise on welfare packages. Our players know what their mates and other professionals abroad are getting in terms of remunerations, hence our clubs must wake up from their slumber,” declared d Udeogu whose Dominion Hotspur FC got to the semi final of the Lagos FA Cup in 2018.

Meanwhile, Udeogu has maintained that he would keep encouraging young and talented footballers through helping them secure clubs in Nigeria and abroad.

He stressed that only disciplined players would be midwifed to becoming new Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze , Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi amongst others.
