Governor Buni Vows To Support Security Operatives In Yobe

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala-Buni has vowed to support security operatives in the state.

Governor Mai Mala Buni has disclosed this on Tuesday while he received the new Commander of Sector 2 of Operation Lafia Dole in the state, Major General Suleiman Idriss at the Government House Damaturu.

Receiving the newly deployed Commander of sector 2 and his entourage, Governor Mai Mala Buni said his administration would continue to give all necessary support to the military operatives in the state as they are protecting lives and property of the citizens.

Governor Mai Mala Buni regretted how the Boko Haram insurgents caused massive destruction of lives and property of citizens, including government structures over the years and extolled their gallantry in liberating occupied territories in the state.

In his remarks, the Commander Sector 2 Operation Lafia Dole, Major General Suleiman Idriss explained that, he was at the Government House to formally announce his arrival in the state to the Governor.

He expressed gratitude to government and good people of the state for supporting the military as they battle to root out the remnants of insurgents attacks in the state.
