A former gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, David Ombugadu, has donated a healthcare centres he built to the state government.
The centres, which spread across four (4) wards of Akwanga Local Government Area of the state were also equipped to provide quality healthcare services to rural dwellers.
Receiving the facilities on behalf of the various communities, Samuel Meshi, commended Ombugadu for the gesture. Meshi who is the chairman of the area urged other well-to-do Nigerians to emulate him in complementing efforts of government towards improving standard of living in the country.
According to him, Ombugadu has shown to mean well for humanity and prayed God reward him.
The chairman urged the communities to make judicious use of the centres.
Also speaking, Director of Health, Thomas Odey Ohobu, assured of judicious and immediate use of the centres.
Ombugadu, who was a 2-term member of the House of Reps, assured of more projects that would have direct bearing on lives especially at the grassroots.
The former lawmaker who was represented by an aide, Sunday Bulus, said the gesture was aimed at bringing healthcare services to people’s doorsteps.
