Kaduna Govt Directs Private, Public Health Establishments To Renew Licenses Before January 31

*says failure to comply will attract sanctions


The Kaduna State Committee on Private and Public Health Establishment has Directed health establishments to renew their licenses of their facilities before January 31.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Mohammed- Baloni and made available to newsmen on  Thursday in Kaduna.

According to the statement,  the directive  was in pursuant of the committee’s responsibility for the registration, licensing, regulation and inspection of all health establishments in the state.
She said failure to comply will attract sanctions, even though penalties to be applied to defaulters were not spelt out.
“Owners of the said facilities who are yet to register/renew their licenses and settle other outstanding levies are to visit the office of the Secretary, private health establishments committee at the ministry of health before January 31.
