Some Yobe State Commissioners sworn in on Friday have promised to justify the confidence reposed on them.
Speaking with New Nigerian Newspapers correspodent, some newly sworn in Commissioners expressed their gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for giving them opportunity to work with him as Commissioners.
They made this known to New Nigerian Newspapers shortly after administering oath of office by the state Governor, Mai Mala Buni.
Abdu Usman Kukuwa, Commissioner of Transport and Energy, Dr. Mairo Amsh,i Agriculture, Musa Mustapha Finance and Yerima Lawan to serve as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in their separate remarks, promised to work hard to justify the confidence reposed on them for the development of the state and create more job opportunities to the people of the state.
According to them, the present administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni is committed towards improving the living conditions of the electorate in the areas of education, agriculture, health care delivery services, industries, housing, road network among other developmental programmes in the state.
According to them, when they assume duty, they would study well the areas where need attention and continue working towards development of the state.
They maintained that, there was the need for the people of the state to continue praying for the present administration under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni to achieve his vision and mission for the development of the state adding that without their support and prayers, he will not achieve the desired objectives.
They prayed for Almighty Allah to guide and protect him and for, peace and security to reign in the state and the country as a whole.
