Nigerian Airforce Provides Free Medical Service To 3,000 Persons In Sokoto Community

The Chief of Air Staff,  Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Airforce to maintain a cordial and harmonious relationship with the civilian populace across the nation as they discharge their constitutional  duties.

The Air Chief spoke at  Mabera Community in Sokoto South Local government  where the Airforfe Medical outreach is expected to provide free medical services for about three thousand persons 
The Chief of Air Staff was represented at the event by Air Vice Marshal Charles Ohwo who says the military is also depend on the valuable information from it’s surrounding communities to help her discharge their duties 
“As a service, The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar is very interested in adding value to society. And his in bid to add value to the society there is no finishing line.
He says the medical outreach is one among many ways the Airforce is using to improve its relationship with the civilian community as well as increase its chances of success in the discharge of their duties.
” This healthcare service is just one way of adding value to the society, because beyond bombs and bullets there is hard and soft power, bombs are bullets are the hard power the soft power is one of the things we are doing today.
He said this has been helping the force through establishing cordial relation that build trust and confidence.

Sokoto state Governor was represented by his deputy Manor Daniya who commend the effort of the Airforce and promised to continue to maintain the cordial relationship that existed between Sokoto state government and the military.
Speaking on behalf of the host community, Sarkin Yakin Gagi and Village Head of Gagi, Sani Umar Jabbi reassure the Airforce of cooperation of members of the community in a bid to fight crime and improve security situation in the state and the nation at large.
