Katsina Govt Vows To Resettle Jibia Flood Victims

Katsina State Government has reiterated it’s commitment to ensure the resettlement of 2018 flood victims in Jibia Local Government Area of the state.

Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa gave the assurance in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Yar’adua.                    

Dr Muhammad Inuwa while   receiving the report of the stakeholders committee on identification of land for the construction of 400 no. houses for the Jibia 2018 flood victims  said government would try to work with the findings and implement the recommendations contained in the report. 

Presenting the report, Chairman of the committee and permanent secretary in the state Ministry of Lands and Survey, represented by the Director Lands, Alhaji Sani Nadada said members of the committee had worked relentlessly to come up with the report.

He thanked the government for giving them the opportunity to serve in that capacity.
