We Have Paid 80% Outstanding Peculiar Academic Allowances – FCE Zaria Provost

The Provost Federal College of Education (FCE), Zaria Dr. Ango Abdullahi Ladan has clarified that he has paid about 80 per cent of the outstanding peculiar academic allowances to the lecturers.
He made this known in an interview with journalists in his office, noting that the issue of allowance for the B.ed allowance to the lecturers is under consideration.
Dr. Ango Ladan said, there is cordial relationship between the management and the in house unions and they are working hand in hand for the college’s development.
The Provost further said the college has got intervention of furniture from the TETFUND  while the college management is maintaining them.

Also, the college road network and the CVT Laboratory, lecture theater is a project by TOTAL Petroleum which is under his efforts.
Speaking on the dilapidation of some teaching and learning facilities the Provost said already they are undertaking repairs of all the classes, hostels with the replacement of the broken items.
On the College relationship with the host communities, Dr. Ladan said as far as he is concerned there is no rift in between.
“All issues regarding the college and host communities it is the Deputy Provost that is handling and he is taking care of that accordingly.
The Provost assured all members of Federal College of Education Zaria communities of working on a very healthy environment.
In his response, to the electricity problem in the College, Dr. Ango Abdullahi Ladan said the problem is a national phenomenon, which they are doing their best on.


  1. So not true. New Nigeria, go to FCE and ask which and which staff have received payment. We need to know the 80%. #investigativejournalism.
