From investigations carried out by our correspondent in Kano, agriculture is now becoming another opportinity for national economic growth and investmnt opportunities.
Most of the people interviewed by New Nigerian disclosed that Nigeria is now making progress in agric sector, especially at present when the Buhari administration is rapidly changing the face of the nation economically.
Alhaji Musa Sani, who is the current chairman, cassava growers association, Kano State chapter, and chief executive officer of Musani Farms Kano said that from what is being seen in the agricultural sector, Nigeria’s economy is making progress because the sector is being taken as an important medium that makes any country more developed and self-reliant.
Similarly, another large scale farmer from Bichi Local Government Area, Malam Ibrahim Lawan lamented that the restoration of the agricultural sector is now serving as an early warning strategy that would enhance economic progress at both rainfed and wet seasons as every farmer is certain that economic transformation, is gradually changing the face of Nigeria as seen under the present administration.
Furthermore, the Kano State chairman of the All Farmers Association, (AFAN), Alhaji Abdulrasheed Magaji Rimin Gado said that Nigeria’s economy is now bouncing back because farmers are being put on to the right path in terms of agriculture and other economically related sectors for national growth.
