Governor Nasir Ahmad and el-Rufai, of Kaduna State, on Thursday, admonished Sixteen Kashim Ibrahim Fellows to learn from the knowledge of social reforms and wealth of experience of HRH, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to add value to the state and entire country
Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, expressed this when he received HRH, the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who came to Government House in Kaduna for the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship Speaker Series.
The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
came into the state with the aim of speaking to the fellows on issues of corruption, education and the girl child.
El-Rufai, said, they invite the Emir of Kano every year on the social reforms he has advocated in Kano State which is something that Kashim Ibrahim Fellows can learn from.
He said the 16 Kashim Ibrahim Fellows have made progress.
“I wish them well, I believe one day, one among them will be a Governor or President of this country.”
He commended the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, for honouring the invitation, despite his engagements.
“I am pleased to receive the most knowledgeable traditional ruler, HRH, the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi,” the Governor said.
