A graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Jos, Mrs Nanfe Joy Jatau who open a car wash in Jos has disclosed the secret behind her successful venture, saying that lack of job in the country forced her into the male dominated business.
Miss Joy who spoke to our correspondent in Jos explained that she entered the business without knowing what the future entailed for her.
According to her, ”After my graduation at the university, there was no job and I had to take bull by horn by venturing into this challenging and men dominated business. Just to make a difference.
”I thank God that the risk I took is providing employment for many including myself where I can provide food on the table in my house.
She said, she has both male and female customers who patronize her business by coming to her every Saturday of the week to wash their cars for weekend.
According to her, the economic situation in the country calls for unemployed graduate who are roaming the streets of the country, to initiate and be business minded to exploit their potentials
“I think our graduates on the streets need to identity the potentials and viability for a better society. Our democracy will be better if we can exploit our potentials as a people,” she advised.
