The Yoruba Youth Forum (YYF) on Wednesday alerted that Nigerians are now suffering over the total closure of Nigeria’s borders by the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government .
National President of the Pan Yoruba Social Cultural group, Conrade Abiodun Olusegun Bolarinwa who raised the alarm while speaking with newsmen in Ibadan also accused the APC led administration in the country of paying lip service to the welfare and development of youths in Nigeria.
The YYF President emphasized that the total closure of the borders is without doubt presently causing untold hardship to Nigerian citizens and other neighbouring countries, adding that Nigeria economy “is retrogressing under the leadership of the APC led administration in the country as an average Nigerian cannot afford to eat three square meal.”.
Lamenting that the ” suffering of Nigerian is getting out of hand.”, the YYF President noted that the government has decried the masses of good governance because of their selifish interest
“The APC admintration has
failed the people that voted for them. YYF is not happy with the way and mannerPresident Buhari has been handling the issue of xenophobic attack on Nigeria Africans living in South Africa. The President should not handle the issue with glove hands”, he said.
The YYF President maintained that his group ” is not happy with the way youths are been treated in Nigeria.”, saying, “the youths are the future leaders and they should be given respect and be involved in decision making process of the country”,
He then called on former President Olusegun
Obasanjo and other well-meaning world leaders not to give up on the Nigerian project adding that YYF on many occasions raised alarm that Nigeria youths are suffering because of the high rate of unemploymentraised
