Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has promised to ensure justice is done in the unfortunate incident that claimed the lives of two persons in Mabera area of the state.
Soldiers attached to 911 Forward Base Operation of the Nigeria Airforce were accused of extra judicial killings of two persons following a fight that ensued as a result of dispute over “girl friend” of an Airforce Officer.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after an emergency security meeting, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal said an inter agency investigative committee will be set up to unravels circumstance that led to the alleges extra judicial killings.
According to him ” the committee is to submit it’s report on the 29th of this month for appropriate action.

He assured that perpetrators of the crime will be arrested and brought to justice to forestall future occurrence.
Earlier Governor Tambuwal visited homes of the deceased victims to condole with the families left behind.
He condemned the incident and promised to cater for the children of one of the victims, a woman mother of seven.
