Depot Nigerian Army Has Introduced You To Training To Build Career, Buratai Tells 78th Regular Recruits

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Yusuf Tukur Buratai has reminded the 78th Regular Recruits Intake that Depot Nigerian Army has introduced them to the initial military training which is the foundation they need to build their carrier.
He stated this at the Beating of the Retreat of the 4,832 Recruits and presentation of prizes to the deserving soldiers, recruits and civilian staff which was held at the Depot Parade Ground.
Represented by Major General Aminu Bichi Maitama (rtd) he said, training in the Nigerian Army is a continuous process and will last throughout their carrier.
Gen Buratai urged the Recruits to attend requisite courses after passing out in order to attain the highest standard of professional competence for steady carrier progression.
According to the Army Chief, the training companies competed keenly in the various competitive events that we’re aimed at enhancing their training in Depot Nigerian Army.
“I enjoin you to note that you will always have several opportunities to excel in the course of your carrier as soldiers”.
The Army Chief urged them to remain disciplined, hardworking and continue to contribute their best towards the progress of the noble Institution.
He commended the Commandant for providing quality training and their tireless efforts at ensuring that the standard is met and sustained at all times.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Commandant Depot Nigerian Army Major General Sani Mohammed said the beating of the retreat is signalling the end of their training and award of prizes.
He said the 78th Regular Recruits Intake have shown total dedication, discipline and good perrformance in both academics and training.
Gen Mohammed said the instructions have done excellently in regimentation of the Recruits from civilian to Military within a short period of time.
