Customs Hands Over Intercepted Mine Resistant Vehicles To American Government

The Nigeria Customs Services, has handed over Six (6) Mine Resistance Multipurpose Vehicle to the American Government.
The Comptroller of Customs in charge of Adamawa and Taraba States, Kamardeen Olumoh, while handing over the vehicles said it was a directives from the National Security Adviser to released the vehicle to the American Government.
” I am directed  by the National Security Adviser to comply, release and hand over the Vehicles to the American Government”.
 Kathleen FitzGibbon, the Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of United States of America in Nigeria, thanked Nigerian government for its understanding.
According to her,  the vehicles were on route to Niger Republic for a security mission.
” Nigeria and America have good relation and understanding ,and the vehicles were on route to Niger Republic for security mission ” FitzGibbon said.
She also thanked the Nigerian authority for taking care of the vehicles saying, the American Air force Carrier would transport  the vehicles to Niger Republic.
New Nigerian reports that military and security Chiefs from various security formations and some Military and security Atache of the American Embassy 
were present at the handing over.
It could be recalled that security operatives in Adamawa has interceptedthe  6 Mine Resistant Military Vehicles  in Konkol, a borderline village in Maiha local government area of Adamawa state, between Nigeria and Cameroon republic.
