The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Thursday, commended the three students of Queen Amina College for emerging the winners of ICT competition on maternal mortality in Abuja.
Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa, expressed her gratitude when she received students of Queen Amina College who came to Government House on a courtesy visit in Kaduna.
The Deputy, extended her warm welcom to the students of Queen Amina College while congratulating the three students and other students for a job well done.
In a remark, the Principal of Queen Amina College, Malama Larai Siman, said they were in Government House to appreciate the State Governor for his support towards making the college great in the state and the country at large.
According to her, the three students from the college started from geo-political to National level.
Speaking further, she said, they compete with 148 colleges in Abuja, they became first where they created an act that had to do with ICT on maternal mortality they emerge winner with a prize of N500 thousands.
“The three students are known as Infinite of Queen Amina College, their vision is to protect mothers after delivery, they are Emmanuela Luka, Safiya Yakubu and Jessica Moses, they emerged winners, the school and the entire state are proud of them, she said.
