The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Wednesday, said that the State Government ensuring better lives for people in the state by providing a conducive healthcare facilities for healthy living.
Dr. Sabuwa Balarabe expressed this when she received members of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students, Kaduna State University Branch, on a courtesy visit to Government House in Kaduna.
She congratulated the team, assuring them of support on issues they have raised.
She said she believes in having and maintaining standards.
“It is unfortunate that we are used to fire brigade approach, we have embedded to get things done towards getting standards at a very long time.”
Hadiza, noted that, the State Government is trying to make the lives of its citizens better, not only the lives of those in rural areas but the lives of everyone in the state.
She thanked them for giving time, energy and sense of direction to be able to go straight to the point while she wished them well in all their endeavours.
Earlier in his remark, the leader of the delegation, Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANs), Kaduna State University (KASU) chapter, Pharm. Yabaya Shekina Amos, said they were in Government House to formally congratulate the State Governor for his second term.
Shekina commended the State Government for ensuring Pharmacy Programme started in Kaduna State University (KASU) in 2012 and has attained accreditation status.
