Service Delivery: Aid Foundation Holds Govt, Citizens Dialogue

In continuation of its contributions towards building a strong, united, peaceful and corrupt-free nation, Aid Foundation in partnership with other NGOs held a one day zonal town hall meeting in the Kaduna Southern Senatorial  District.

In his welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Dr. Emmanuel Bonet said the meeting is a “SCRAPs- C project” that brought together government officials and citizens to interface for understanding not to antagonise on service delivery.

He disclosed that the foundation had trained Community Development Chatter (CDC) champions, who are saddled with the task of stepping down the training in their localities. 

He said that integrity committees that would champion the upright Nigeria campaign against corruption in the zone were set up.

Dr. Bonnet called on government, private organizations and other stake holders to cooperate and give detailed explanations of the services rendered by their various organizations and why such actions were taken to sensitise the public and get their support and cooperation.

The interactive session was peaceful and featured explanation of functions of public and private agencies by their representatives.

Some of the organisations are the police, judiciary, Nigeria Bar Association, ministries of agriculture, education, public works, human services, Kastilia and NOA.
