Police Smash Car Robbery Gang, Recover Robbed Vehicle

Car snatching suspects with the vehicle recovered from them by Police operatives in Lagos.

The long arm of the has caught up two members of a robbery syndicate following their arrest by police operatives in Lagos.
A black Honda Accord 2007 model earlier stolen by the suspects, were said to have been recovered from them.
Our correspondent gathered that the duo were members of robbery gang that specialises in dispossessing motorists at gun point or removing them from park.
Identified as  Gidion Amuzie, ’25 and God’s power Imafidion, 25, of Sattilite town Lagos, it was learnt that the suspects were apprehended by 
detectives from Ilemba Hausa Division  following credible intelligence.
The police public relations officer Lagos command DSP Bala Elkana confirmed the arrest in a release made available to journalists on Tuesday.
He said, ” On 11/09/2019 at about 2330hrs, acting on credible Intelligence, Detectives from Ilemba Hausa Division  arrested two suspects:  Gidion Amuzie ‘m’ aged 25 yrs and God’s power Imafidion  ‘m’ aged 25 yrs of Sattilite town Lagos and recovered one black Honda accord 2007 which they hid at jemilugba street ilogbo Lagos. 
The suspects specialize in snatching vehicles from the owners or stealing the vehicles from where they are parked. 
They confessed that they stole the vehicle at a car wash in satellite town Lagos.  Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to Court”.
