NYG: Team Kaduna Stands Out At Opening Ceremony

As the fifth edition of the National Youth Games (NYG) kicked off at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday September 10, 2019, Team Kaduna again stood out as the ‘Best Kitted’ contingent.
Dressed in green track suits with yellow stripes, Kaduna’s contingent radiated under the dim sunlight as they processed during the march past at the University of Ilorin Sports Complex.
They also dressed uniformly in green caps, while wearing matching white trainers with white stripes.
Other States who were impressive during the march past were Team Lagos, who wore three different track suits, but stole the hearts of the dignitaries and spectators with a brilliant display featuring choreographic dances, as well as defending champions, Team Delta, spotting navy blue track suits, Team FCT in their green track suits with white stripes and Team Kano in their green and white stripped track suits.
There were performances from Small Doctor, Clefx, OLA, Unilorin Faculty of Performing Arts, Aerobic Displays.
The fifth NYG is expected to hold from September 7 to 17 with over 4,000 athletes drawn from 33 states, according to the Minister of Sports, Mr. Sunday Akin Dare participating.
