Air Force Comprehensive School Best Teacher Says Award Will Spur Him On

The best teacher award recipient, at the recently  concluded graduation ceremony of Air Force Comprehensive School Kano, Mr. Armaya’u Salami  has said that  his recent award by the school management has really encouraged him to serve more in the school as a teacher.

He made the pledge in an interview with our correspondent after  receiving his award as the best teacher of the school.

He disclosed that he joined  Kano Air Force Comprehensive  School as a teacher six years ago where he is currently serving.

Mr. Armaya’u Salami who hails from Kwara State added ” that teachers should also bear in mind that  education is an important tool that aids rapid development in any society, therefore it is important to put more efforts in order to ensure that the younger generations were fully equipped with good educational background as beginners”. He emphasized.

Furthermore, the best teacher  award recipient told New Nigerian that teaching is a good profession especially when there is adequate learning atmosphere at the institutions, assuring that he would continue to work selflessly towards the educational progress of the school with excellent performance.

Mr. Salami thanked the commandant of the school, Squadron Leader E. J. Ichimi and his lieutenants for providing all the necessary teaching and learning facilities in the school, and called on the teaching staff to be more active in giving excellent education to the students which is the main objective of their employment.

In conclusion, Armaya’u Salami urged the parents and guardians to encourage their wards in acquiring sound education in the school to remain good citizens and promised to double efforts in  serving the school as a teacher.
