Adekeye, Aruwan, Others Honoured As Kaduna Baptist Holds 20th Ordination

The acting Conference President, Reverend Stephen Olarewaju on Saturday,  called on newly inaugurated Pastors to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ towards expanding Kingdom potentials.

He made this known at the Kaduna Baptist Conference 20th Ordination Service of Pastors held at Albarka Fellowship Baptist Church in Kaduna.

The acting Conference President, who was the speaker  of the day, emphasised the need for the Pastors as a potential leaders who led the congregations to be worthy of emulation, knowing their responsibilities to one another likewise the members, he said.

He appealed to the Members to care for their Pastor’s, he is their spiritual father, they should know his limit, pray for him for the task ahead of him, adding that, do not over stress him, Olarewaju said.

The acting President, urged the pastors to  endeavour to study and meditate the Bible very well, know the word, effectively and  relate the word of God to his people.

“You are are to be watchful and be careful less you fall into avoidable temptation,” he noted.

At the event, six people were given awards for their selfless service and contributions to humanity.

The Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communications,  Mr Olumuyiwa Adekeye, and four others were acknowledged and honored by the Kaduna Baptist Conference as Friends of the Baptist Conference at Albarka Baptist Church, Kaduna.

Out of the 48 pastors, 47 were ordained, while one actually died.
