Five people narrowly escaped death in an auto crash in front of the University of Ibadan main gate on Tuesday when Micra cab and a commercial motorcyclist rammed into a Toyota Camry car.
New Nigerian gathered from an eye witness that the auto crash involved a commercial motorcycle marked Osun APM 832 UD, a Micra car with registration number Oyo DDA 580 XA and another Toyota Camry with registration number Lagos GGE 186 CX belonging to a lecturer in the university.
According to the eye witness, one of the passengers on the commercial motorcycle was seriously injured and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment while the other four passengers in the Micra car, sustained various degrees of injuries.
The eye witness blamed the accident on high speed at which the Micra cab was traveling during which it reportedly rammed into Motorcyclist and Toyota Camry said to belonged to a Senior lecturer at the Faculty of Science, University of Ibadan.
The auto crash resulted into traffic jam in the area for about 15 minutes before Policemen from the Sango division of the Oyo State Police Command arrived the scene to clear the road
