Support Kaduna Private Schools, Stakeholder Begs Govt

Barrister Saminu Abubakar of tge Federal College of Education (FCE),  Zaria has called on the Kaduna State Government to consider private and community schools by giving them support as the public schools enjoy.
He made the call at the 15th Speech and Prize Giving Day ceremony of UMRABS School held at Hayin Dogo Tudun Jukun Zaria at the weekend.
Barrister Saminu Abubakar who was the Guest Speaker said the call was very important considering the fact that these types of schools help government in absorbing children as well provide jobs since government has limited space to accommodate them.
The Guest Speaker also charged parents to make sure they give their children proper and quality education.
Barrister  Abubakar advised parents to make sure they send their children to school and invest heavily on them.
While congratulating the outgoing students for their successful completion of their post primary education, he advised them to maintain the discipline, knowledge and moral training they received during their stay in the school.
In his remarks, the Royal Father of the day, Alhaji Abdulkarim Aminu Wamban Zazzau and District Head of Giwa, called on parents to stand by the school management at all costs.
Alhaji Abdulkarim also charged the school management not to relent in ensuring the quality, discipline, teaching and learning in the school succeeded continuously.
In his speech, the school’s Director, Malam Isa Sa’idu said that this year’s academic performance will be better than the previous one despite that WAEC is yet to release this year’s results but the JAMB results have shown their performance is encouraging.
Malam Isa announced that the school will make Islamiyyah section  compulsory to every student and advised parents to give their maximum support.
The Director reminded the general public on the importance attached in assisting the orphans in educating them, “any assistance from individuals, organizations for this purpose is highly appreciated.”
