Peaceful Coexistence: British High Commission Parleys Kaduna Govt

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State,  Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Monday
received a delegation from the British High Commission.

The delegation came from Abuja, led by its Political Counsellor, Mr Dominic Williams, were on a courtesy visit to Government House in Kaduna.

The delegation is in the state to discuss on community peace – building and  interfaith dialogue.

They had earlier met with the Kaduna State Peace Commission to discuss areas of collaboration.

It would be recalled that, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe represented Governor Nasir el-Rufai as Guest of Honour at the joint graduation ceremony of graduants of Kaduna Center of Study for Christian-Muslim Relations at the weekend.

The center was founded by Most Reverend Josiah Idowu Fearon, Chairman of Kaduna Peace Commission and Secretary General of Anglican Communion World-wide.

The thrust of the center is promoting religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among followers of the two faith.
