The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, has described the administration of Governor Sule as a monumental failure having started on a wrong footing having to make key appointments within two weeks in office.
This was contained in a statement issued by Ambassador Taimako Sunday Anyuabaga, head of media and publicity, Thursday in Lafia.
According to the statement, Sule’s inability to appoint his Chief of staff, secretary to the state government among others over 2-weeks after been sworn-in portrayed him as one lacking foresight and confused.
The mainstream opposition alleged that the governor is sitting on “stolen mandate” of its candidate, Honourable David Ombugadu.
The statement said the party would deploy every constitutional means to retrieve what it called a ‘stolen mandates’ from the governor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura among others.
It described the March 09 poll which produced Governor Sule as ‘fraudulent and undemocratic’.
“Unfortunately, in our dear State, the reverse is the case due to the fact that, an undemocratic, inexperienced and unprepared group of persons who were handpicked by corrupt administration for their personal gains are masquerading themselves around Government House.
“We hereby urge all our members, well-wishers and teeming supporters to exercise more patience as all our stolen mandates would soon be restored by the courts and we would immediately hit the ground running.
“The PDP is fully prepared, focused and determined to deliver good governance at all times and all levels to the citizens of Nasarawa State”, the statement reads.
Meanwhile, Governor Sule has assured people of the State that his administration would carry everyone along.
