The only female member in a state Assembly in the North West Zone, from Sanga Constituency in Kaduna State, Comrade Comfort Amwe has said that it would take over 24 hours for her to list things she has done for Sanga.
She stated this while fielding questions from newsmen at her residence in Kaduna, shortly after the inauguration of the sixth Assembly at the Lugard Hall in Kaduna on June 13, 2019.
“I worked as an elected chairman in the LGA opportunities availed me was used to to touch lives and I did that through constructing infrastructure.
“If I start listing what I did for my people, it would take a whole day,” she added.
Speaking further, she said that representation is all about making laws, to bring progress to their people.
“Whatever will touch their lives, is what I intend to do. I will go to plead with the Executive to bring meaningful development to our people. Being a Member of House is not like at the LGA where we take executive decisions, now we make laws and lobby the Executive to favour them,” she stressed.
Several well wishers were sighted at her residence, where she hosted them to a grand reception.
