Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State, on Tuesday, described his Deputy Governor as a faithful steward to his administration.
Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, made this known at the Kaduna State Inaugural Lecture held at the YarAdu’a Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna.
According to him, “I’m in touched by the large turn out of this Inauguration Lecture, I am grateful, he thank everyone who took time to be here, he said.
He furthered thanked the participants who have contributed to the memory lecture, describing women as compassionate, “women give compassion than men, saying I am sure Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe will exhibit that.
el-Rufai noted, “he had worked in office with pride with the outgoing Deputy Governor, Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex and have known him for 43 years.
He is a man, “committed to Putting People First, a man so resolutely committed to promoting equality of opportunity.
On this note, el-Rufai thanked the outgoing Deputy Governor, “the relationship with him is more of a friend, saying we never argued or have misunderstanding because of the cordial relationship, he said.
Looking back when he came to him on his ambitious to go for Senate, “I was not happy when he came to me that he wants to go for Senate, the election has taken place and he lost in Southern Kaduna,” he lamented.
The State Governor commended him on the faithful stewardship who have serve the state, we work together, and I’m sure he will be given appointment by the Federal government by God Grace, he added.
He thanked the Deputy elect, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, for being his running mate.
“She worked hard for us to win the election and we won,” he explained.
