The wife Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Architect Hadiza Isma el-Rufai on Monday, called on women to try and unite with their fellow women in the state.
She made this known during Ifitar with the wives of members of the Armed Forces Officers and some political appointees held at her residence in Kaduna.
Hadiza said it was a very good engagement, because they were able to discuss some of the problems in the society.
“We were able to tell them what the government has done to make things better, and generally we got to know each other, it was really a great engagement,” she said.
According to her, from their discussions, the message is, “we should try and be united in Kaduna State, we should show those things that make us different, we should remember that we are all human beings.
“I know that they so many issues in the state that divide us especially among the religious lines, we should all know that the same God created all of us.
“We should learn to deal with each other peacefully, embrace each other. We are human beings, we should all live like sisters and support each other.
Expressing her satisfactions, “I feel very happy because everything turned out very well, everybody was very friendly we ate, we chatted, we laughed and everyone felt happy and it was really wonderful,” she said.
