We Will Continue To Pray For You, Yobe People Tell Gaidam In Farewell Message

Less than three days for Governor Ibrahim Gaidam to handover the mantle of leadership to the incoming government, cross section of people have spoken on the positive leadership of Governor Ibrahim Gaidam.
Hajiya Ladi  Jibrin the Yobe State All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader, Alhaji Usman Muazu state chairman Harmonised Traders Association and Malum Kura a renowned businessman known as green and blue said, nothing people of Yobe State can say now to Governor Ibrahim Gaidam unless continue praying for him for Allah’s guidance and protection for his future endeavor.
According to them, Governor Ibrahim Gaidam made Yobe proud in the areas of infrastructural development such as healthcare delivery services, education, roads and drainages, water supply, agricultural sector among others social amenities.
According to them, with all the insecurity in the state, in the education sector, the government of Ibrahim Gaidam renovated all destroyed primary and secondary schools across the state and constructed additional ones in all villages and towns of the state and upgraded the fast growing university and equipped it with all necessary facilities.
“In the health sector, Governor Ibrahim Gaidam Administration constructed a modern Teaching Hospital with modern equipments, in addition with Medical College in the University among others.
“In the area of road networks, Ibrahim Gaidam connected all local government headquarters of the state with roads. Also on the township roads, the five major towns of the state which include Damaturu, Potiskum, Nguru, Gashua and Gaidam were provided with roads and drainages and in addition to all the five local governments mentioned with befitting general hospitals with modern equipment
“Yobe State free treatment for pregnant women and children from zero to 5 years of age including accident victims within the state and prompt payment of salaries, up to date payment of pension and gratuities for retired civil servants of the state, will be some other notable things he would be fondly remembered for,” they said.
According to them, these are some few projects executed by the present Administration of Governor Ibrahim Gaidam that will be enduring legacies as he bows out of office on May 29.
