The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, has joined the world in celebrating Children’s day with a lot of funs activities at the Hospital auditorium.
Speaking at the occasion the Chief Medical Director of the hospital Professor Ahmad Hanidu Ndagas who was represented by Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Zaria said what the ARD did is a testimony of their concern in serving the humanity.
The CMD added that, he prays such humanitarian gestures will continue to improve yearly.
On their part, the hospital management said it will continue to support the in house unions as part of efforts to cement the cordial working relationship for the hospital to move forward.
Earlier in her address, the President of the association Dr. Karima Mohammed said identifying with children particularly the ones with various problems at this period of Children day is very important.
Dr. Karima emphasized the need for parents to look after their children and give them parental care as leaders of tomorrow.
She said, the association is indeed very happy with the support given by the members and the hospital community for making the Children day ceremony a successful event.
Highlight of activities lined up include, horse riding, swimming pool, dancing among others.
