2 Cultists Nabbed With Firearms At YabaTech Matric

Two armed bandits, suspected to be cultists have been arrested by police operatives at the matriculation ceremony of Yaba College of Technology.
Some arms and ammunition were reportedly recovered from the hoodlums
apprehended by a combined team of policemen attached to Sabo Division and operatives of the Tactical Unit of the Command.
Identified as Balogun Oluwadamilare, 24, and Badmus Idris, 23, the suspects according to report were in possession one Baretta pistol, four live and three expended cartridges at the time of the arrest.
The Lagos Command Police Public Relations Officers DSP Bala Elkana confirmed the arrest in a release made available to journalists on Sunday.
He hinted that the suspects were nabbed on 21th May, 2019 at about 4.00pm during the matriculation ceremony by police operatives drafted to the scene following distress call.
Elkana said that investigation into the matter has commenced, adding that the suspects will be charged to Court. 
” On 21st May, 2019, at about 4.00pm, Sabo Police Station received a distress call that a group of armed hoodlums  suspected to be cultists were sighted at Yaba College of Technology, during the College Matriculation ceremony.
Teams of Policemen from Sabo Police Station and Tactical Units of the Command were promptly drafted to the scene to reinforce the campus patrol team..
Four live ammunition and three expended ammunition were recovered from the suspects.
 “Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to Court”.
