Kano North Association for Good Governance has called on the new set of Northern Governors to tackle challenges facing the region in order to boost the economy of the nineteen states in the present democratic dispensation.
The chairman of the association, Comrade Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo advised this in a chat with New Nigerian in Kano, adding that Northern region is facing a lot of challenges in the areas of security, education, unemployment, agriculture, youth empowerment and healthcare delivery services.
He stressed that Northern states governors should work selflessly for the development of the region despite the economic challenges, while the entire people of the area are always yawning for real change at both rural and urban settlements as seen in the other regions.
In conclusion, Comrade Mustapha Coach congratulated Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his deputy Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, elected Senators, members of the states and National Assemblies for winning the elections, for another four-year term in office.
