Kaduna State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board has attributed its successes in Hajj exercise to its positive relationship with media in the state.
The Overseer of the Board, Ustaz Hussain Tsoho stated this when he received the state executive of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna at his office in Kaduna.
He said information is power that the board used during and after hajj exercise and promised to continue to strengthen the good relationship with the journalists in the state.
Ustaz Hussain Tsoho explained that the media played an important role particularly during the hajj exercise.
In a remark, the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna state council, Mallam Adamu Yusuf who presented a letter of commendation to the board Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad Makarfi congratulated him for wining an award of the best states pilgrim’s PRO of 2018 in Nigeria.
It would be recalled, last month, the Independent Hajj Reporters presented an award of excellence to the Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad Makarfi of Kaduna Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board as the best PRO of states pilgrims in Nigeria last year.
