Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State on Friday, said he has resurrected and alive while he confirmed to the people that no accident took place and no one died.
He stated this at a reception organised by his wife Architect Hadiza Isma el-Rufai on Friday evening as thousands of APC supporters stormed Government House to welcome Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai back from his vacation.
el-Rufai said, “I repeat it for the sake of clarity I was not involved in any accident and no one died.”
According to him, he has married his wife for 43 years, she has confirmed that it is actually him and he’s not a clone that no one died and he was not involved in any accident.
el-Rufai thanked the people of Kaduna State for their patience, saying, “I am here to proof that I am still alive and have resurrected, not a clone but el-Rufai is alive.
He thanked the people for taking their time to come there and welcome him.
“I am grateful for your votes for President Muhammadu Buhari and Governorship Election by coming out in large numbers to vote for me and members of House of Assembly.”
He appealed to the leadership of State House of Assembly to maintain the leadership that has served the state so diligently for the past four years to continue their good work.
“Kaduna State has always voted for President Buhari since he first contested in 2003 he has never lost Kaduna State it is not a shock that he won the election this time.”
“Anyone that says he has defeated the President is either dreaming of being a President or he needs psychiatric assistance.”
He appealed to the people to live in peace and harmony.
“We are all saddened by the violence in some communities like Birnin Gwari, Kajuru, and lately in Sanga,” he said, while praying for the families of those that lost their loved ones and their souls to rest in peace.
“All the communities are now calm the security agencies are there to protect the people,” he said.
el-Rufai disclosed that he was at the Presidential Villa on Friday afternoon, where he had a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on security issues, saying he raised the security issues with President Buhari to increase security agencies in those areas.
He appealed to all the communities to come together, adding that, the government can do what they can the security agency can do what they can only if the the communities live in peace before they can achieve peace among themselves.
He further said, he was grateful to the people of the state for giving him the mantle of leadership, citing that they see it as their responsibility to be fair and just to everyone.
He urged the people of the state to live in peace with one another and end violent conflicts as the security are doing everything possible to make sure the people enjoy peace in the state.
He said he believes that elections are over, it is time for governance, while calling on all their opponents and supporters to put hands together and unite for the progress of the state.
On his part, he promised to put hands together with his deputy to work hard for development and the progress of the state.
According to him, they will devote their time to education, health sector, infrastructure, and correct past errors as their ears are open to suggestions on how to do things better.
He assured that he will be fair and just to the people in the state whether they voted for him or not, while appealing to all leaders voted in to carry everyone along.
