The leader of Kano North Youth and a national commentator on youth matters, Malam Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo has called on the Kano youth to shun violence during the forthcoming gubernatorial rerun elections which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 23/3/2019 in some selected polling units.
He made the call in an interview with our correspondent in Kano, where he reminded the teaming youth populace that peace is better than violence, therefore it is important to always abide by the laws and order to promote peace and unity in the society especially in the present democratic dispensation.
Malam Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo disclosed that Kano is important in Nigerian politics, and the people of the state are very sensitive on what is really happening in terms of democracy and mutual understandings, that is why things are being scheduled according to the satisfaction of every citizen as seen nowadays.
The youth leader added that democracy has come to stay in the country, therefore all hands should be on deck to ensure that the citizens are the beneficiaries of it’s dividends at both rural and urban settlements.
He described the youth as pillars of developments and the leaders of tomorrow.
In conclusion, Mustapha Gwarzo advised Kano youth especially those who will participate in the next Saturdays rerun to cast their votes and wait for the final declaration in an orderly manner in order to ensure smooth conduct of the election.
He called on the people of Kano State to re-elect Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) for better Kano.
