Women in Nigeria have been told to brace up and be solution providers and assist their male counterparts in matters that concern even the country instead of trying to compete.
This advise was given by Ms. Olanike Olugboji the convener and Chief Executive Officer of Women Initiative for Sustainable Environment (WISE) a non governmental organization at a programme organized to mark this year’s World Women’s Day celebration held at Mold Suites, Kaduna, Wednesday.
According to her, it has become imperative to make women know that they can do more than what they are doing now, ” the theme of this celebration: Balance for Better, simply means working tirelessly to break your own record, because as women, we are supposed to be decision makers and not just a passive observer,” she explained.
Olugboji urged women to that with their ability nothing should limit them unless they limit themselves.
“Don’t as women lean on the source, ensure that you always make your contributions known and felt, not as a competitor but as a help meet.”
